Science with Jamie Z.

I am an experienced elementary science teacher who has worked with grades preK-5. I enjoy working with elementary students of many abilities, and structure my lessons based on student needs and developmental levels. My teaching style allows your student to gain a deeper understanding of scientific concepts through different mediums of lessons, including games, puzzles, practice problems, and hands-on experiments (when possible). I encourage students to ask as many questions as they want and often find that they lead themselves to the correct answers all on their own! When it comes to learning, confidence is key, and I will encourage confidence in your student starting on day one!
