I've been reading and writing stories and poems for most of my life, and I love sharing my love of literature with others. I hate boring classes so I do my best to make lessons interactive and student focused. I have earned an MFA in Creative writing from Fairfield University, an MA in Liberal studies with a focus on Literature from Rutgers University, and I hold three other degrees in various subjects including a BA in English. I am a proud member of Mensa and a retired Air Force veteran.

Ivan's love of sharing literature with students helps me learn new vocabulary words and develops the comprehensibility of the offered content.
He's a deep personality with a nice sense of humor and is always ready to learn alongside the student. His ability to reflect on his teaching style brings a mutual understanding of the student's needs and works efficiently towards improving one's English skills. I like that he feels free to revise the content until it is fully 'digested' by the student.
Instructions for reducing the accent in English are being very productive in his classes.
