Staff Interpreter

American Sign Language is more than a pretty language. I don't just teach vocabulary words to memorize, I will be teaching students basic Deaf culture, linguistics, syntax, grammar, and the ASL rules. I am patient and have a deep passion for American Sign Language. I have worked as a Sign Language interpreter for 9 years. I can teach parents how to sign with their baby as well as a student attending college courses in ASL.

I have been a Sign Language Interpreter for 9 years. I have two kids. My 3-year-old daughter has Down syndrome and knows about 120 signs. I love ASL and believe it is more than just a language. When I first began learning ASL I lived at a residential school for Deaf children and was taught solely by Deaf people. I am patient and understanding, however, I have high expectations for students.
