Since I was a young child, I have been PASSIONATE ABOUT WRITING – a passion that ultimately led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in English writing (and art) and a teaching and writing career. Since 2006, I have been teaching English writing and ESL to students in over 40 countries who range in age from pre-teen to senior citizen.
My own writing has won numerous national and international awards, and I am the AUTHOR of an art history textbook for high school students. Last year I was featured on the famous ALL EARS ENGLISH podcast to discuss English writing techniques for non-native speakers, and my “Mastering Complex English Descriptions” article has become a hit with ESL students around the world.
Over the years I have helped numerous students improve their writing skills to receive coveted job promotions, excel on exams like the ACT or TOEFL, and get accepted into schools like MIT, Harvard, and UCLA. Whatever it is you are looking to do, let me know, and we can work on it together!

Yoichi's first review left for Gina: Thank you, Gina! I enjoyed talking with you very much. I was a little nervous before my first web lesson started, but you were so friendly and kind that I felt relaxed. You gave good advice. I'll try to learn hard by next time!
Now over 2 years and 100 classes later, the reviews are still great, though more technical... Great lesson! Thank you, Gina! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the speeches! I forgot to ask which is correct, the position of "[...]", which means omission, right after the sentence as in S. Thurlow's transcript, or right before the sentence as in E. Roosevelt' transcript?

Gina has the rare talent to be an excellent listener which is as much important, in conversation, as to ask challenging questions to keep the student always engaged. The lesson flew and I am looking forward to our next hour!

Gina is an extraordinary teacher. She can immediately find my weakness in writing and give me some useful advice. I have learned a lot in today's class. Thus, I highly recommend her classes!
