Spanish with Gabriela R.

Aside from the obvious qualification of speaking both English and Spanish, Gabriela has both a drive to help others learn and the understanding that a new language takes time, patience, and practice. She has been instrumental in keeping my Spanish from falling apart, and actively pushes me to expand my knowledge of the language.

Gabriela has been a friend for the past several years and thanks to her, I have been able to practice my written and conversational Spanish skills with her. She is very kind and outgoing, and makes learning fun. She can also talk about many different topics and can tell you everything about Venezuelan culture. My Spanish has greatly improved with her help, and I highly recommend her.

I was Gabriela's Teaching Assistant when she was taking her last Biology Course (Animal Physiology). She is insightful and always found creative ways to memorize biological processes, without leaving out the understanding of the mechanisms behind them.
