Pre Algebra with Esteban P.

*I teach multiple subjects. Please send me any and all questions, I typically respond within a few hours.* I studied Voice and Music Theory in college and earned my Bachelor's degree in Music at Stony Brook University. While there, I was part of the Stony Brook Chorale and a member of the Stony Brook High Cs (all-male A Cappella group). I sang as a high baritone for both groups and the knowledge gained was incredible. As you can see, my passion for singing ended up going beyond the classroom and into all aspects of my life. I started teaching during my second semester in the music program (2013). I found a had a knack for comprehending music theory and I offered tutoring to my classmates and new students in the program. My goal was to make sure they each had a strong comprehension of the material and excelled in the theory classes they were taking. These days, I am actively writing short 4-part chorales which ended up being a hobby from one of my late theory classes. I also enjoy harmonizing to any songs I hear on the radio and occasionally transcribing excerpts to keep my theory ear warmed up.
