- Teaching since:
I have been an ESL teacher for almost 5 years, as well as a translator. After my graduation from Rutgers University with a BA in History, and soon after an MA from Georgetown University in Conflict Resolution, I decided to try something different, and moved to Moscow, Russia to teach English. It has been a wonderful experience which has allowed me to become a Deputy Director of an ESL School were I both teach and train other teachers. I teach both in person and on Skype to students as young as 7, and as old as 70.
Learning any language takes time, effort, and willingness to make mistakes. English always changes, it evolves, and my students quickly learn from me on how to manage these changes and adapt them as their own. I have taught Business English, Conversational English, Academic Writing, English to children, and even subject areas such as History in English. Regardless of what I taught, my students enjoy the process, and significant improvements happen fairly quickly.
