I am a creative, passionate, and experienced, teacher of English with over 30 years of teaching foreign and immigrant students in California USA. Language is learned in context, not by conjugating verbs and completing grammar worksheets. Lessons I create involve multimedia, music, and video and cultural aspects. I strive to engage students in a fun and interesting learning environment. I studied and speak both Spanish and Portuguese and know what it takes to truly learn and become fluent in a second language .
