I have been teaching mathematics at all levels since earning my Bachelor of Science Degree from Bucknell University in 1987. I am a lover of mathematics and I bring mathematics to life in a way which is understandable and enjoyable for you (or your child). I make mathematics applicable to everyday life and I utilize techniques that promote learning and skill development. I specialize in Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra and Numerical Analysis and my expertise extends into graduate level courses.

##### Professor of Applied Mathematics

Jan 2004 - PresentI am a Full Professor of Applied Mathematics at Delaware State University. I held the position of Associate Professor from January 2004 until August 2011 at which time I was promoted to Professor. I held the position of Honors Program Director from July 2009 until January 2019.

Prior to coming to Delaware State University, I taught at the New Jersey Institute for Technology, the University of Maryland and Northwestern University.

##### Visiting Researcher

May 2019 - Jul 2019In the summer of 2019, I worked as a visiting researcher at the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, Maryland. The research performed during this time is ongoing.

##### Visiting Professor

May 2016 - Jul 2016In the summer of 2016, I taught two sections of Calculus III in Changchun, China for Summer session I. It was an amazing experience.
