Russian with Darya B.

Hi! My name is Darya, I live in NYC and I'm 25! I've been tutoring languages since I was in college. I have Bachelors in French, although I speak fluently Ukrainian, Russian, English and am currently learning German. Growing up I moved around a lot and have a background of a few cultures which allowed me to learn the languages I speak on a native level. I work part time in fashion, on my own clothing brand and, because I'm very creative and I apply this creativity when I try to deliver my ideas to people. I get incredibly excited and passionate about helping people learn anything at all, especially languages because learning French for example has changed my life and brought immeasurable gifts and joy to my life. I am deeply empathetic, have a sense of humor and am curious by nature which helps me be someone people turn to for help. However it may sound, I was incredibly lucky to have had people along the way in my life who believed in me and thus stuck around to teach me and help me through, and a few of those people were my professors and mentors, which is why I take helping my students very seriously. I too, now remember teachers who have shaped my confidence and enriched my life in ways that still remain. It's easy to talk to me and tell me if something is not working, I will learn along the way with you. I might not be the best at writing bios but in 3D, you will find it very easy to get along with me and get more interested in the subject, which, after all it's the interest or the lack thereof that drives a person one direction or the other.
