Greetings from New York City. I love teaching pool, especially to total beginners. I’ve developed some unique training games that help you make rapid progress while having lots of fun. It’s got to be fun!! For that reason, I’m great teaching groups at parties. Over a decade ago, I got myself a job as co-editor of what became a big seller in the pool world, Phil Capelle’s “Play Your Best 8-Ball.” In late 2015, the Professional Billiard Instructors Association granted me the rank of Recognized Instructor. Please note: Lesson prices DO NOT INCLUDE payment for my "table time." As is customary, the student pays it at the time of the lesson. I can’t tell you how gratifying it is to see students progress rapidly, scoring points, pocketing balls, and having a high quality experience. My students think of me as a very patient teacher, willing to go over things many times. Take a lesson with me and you won’t regret it.

Daniel was incredibly helpful in providing a lesson for myself and my Dad. He assessed our level of play quickly and catered the lesson accordingly. Daniel created a great game for us to practice on our own. Very happy with the overall experience.

Very interesting person who raised my interest multiple times throughout the lesson. Also taught me the mastery of an important fundamental of billiards that I looked past

    Experience

    Pool Teacher

    Jun, 2023 - Jun, 2023

    Ocean's 8 at Brownstone Billiards

Last night, I taught my first lesson at this pool hall. Two students showed up, and they learned a lot, and enjoyed it. They told me so at the end of the session. They learned stroke and aiming fundamentals, to help them pocket balls better and with more confidence.
