I wanted to learn Japanese at the time and self study was just not cutting it so I went to a place called Penpalworld.com and actually made a few good international friends the one in particular helped me to improve my Brazilian  Portuguese and  in exchange I also taught him English and we exchanged mail (snail mail). The rest was history.

As someone who struggled learning how to read growing up I remember being left behind in school by the other kids because I was just not at their level and I was constantly being sent to to study alone with a personal tutor. At first I was distraught but then I started reading books and acing all the spelling tests with flying colors it was then that I realized that instead of feeling insecure about by learning disability I would use that time to improve and get ahead of the other kids.  by the time I was in High school  I found myself in Advanced place English classes among the best.. I really hope that this encourages you to learn how to read with me.  We'll start with books and the rest will be history.
