Perfect your math skills with a Statistics major and math enthusiast

Welcome! I'm a current Statistics College Student, so I understand the struggle with difficult and complex math. I have been a math tutor for over 5 years, helping students from age 5 up through 22 with their classes. Every student's math learning track is different, and I'll adapt my teaching to each student's style. Whether it's needing help with a few specific problems on a homework assignment, studying for that all-important upcoming test, or just needing help with the basic concepts, I would love to help you progress in your math journey! When I teach, I use a combination of conceptual understandings and examples to make sure you fully understand what you're learning, how it works, and how to apply in future situations. I look forward to helping you progress and perfect your math skills!

Hi! My name’s Connor, and I’m a college student studying Statistics and Political Theory. I’ve been teaching and performing magic professionally for over 2 years and I approach teaching magic analytically and creatively. I break tricks down, teaching students to create their own stories and characters while performing shocking tricks. Here’s a bit of my own magic story! I was first introduced to magic at a camp at the age of 9 and have loved card magic ever since. This inspired me to learn more, and I never really stopped, only falling more in love with it every day. My skills and tricks are self-taught, as I studied books and online videos and dedicated countless hours to improving my skills. My high-school journalism team featured me in a video about magic, which is the most-watched video they’ve ever produced. The summer camp where I initially learned magic hired me to teach, and I worked there for two summers as their lead Magician, teaching magic to thousands of kids aged 8-16. Additionally, I performed in shows for the camp with audiences of over 500 people, where I perfected my performance and public speaking skills. I began doing events, performing at parties, and teaching and performing at nursing homes. Now, as a college student, I regularly perform for students and faculty across campus, do virtual shows, and was recently featured in my university’s newspaper. I can’t wait to teach you the performing art of magic and help you brighten the world with your talent!

Connor was just wonderful! He taught simple card tricks to my two grandchildren, who are 8 and 10. His one-hour lesson was superbly organized to provide an introduction to different types of magic card tricks. He was personable, very encouraging and patient, clearly explaining how the tricks were done and giving the boys time to practice themselves. I would highly recommend him, and felt he provided extremely good value for money. Thanks Connor!!
