Overview

When I was 10, my Great Grandmother taught me to crochet Irish roses as my first project. Since then I have enjoyed needlepoint and embroidery as well. I grew up participating in 4-H, making sewing projects all through High School, receiving many ribbons at the local, county and even state fairs. I have helped many friends learn the needle arts and have enjoyed making gifts for many years.

I believe that if you are interested in these wonderful crafts, I can help you realize your dream of making your own projects. It is never too late to learn, and I will customize your lessons just to meet your needs.

I had my first sewing lesson with Claudia and I was so impressed. I know sewing basics but have a new machine and needed to learn zippers and button holes. Claudia went over my machine with me and helped me navigate all the new features. She knows her stuff. We went over the information I needed to know about the different feet to do zippers and button holes. She showed me how to put on the feet and told me about other feet I might want to get. I am starting a project and next lesson I will do button holes and zippers myself. It is so worth taking the lessons. She is professional and very nice. I highly recommend her.
