I have a background in both math and teaching, with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and masters degree in education. I've worked in education, data analysis, and teaching, but I most enjoy working one-on-one with students through tutoring. I work to help students realize how much they already know and give them confidence for mastering new math skills.
I've helped students in traditional school improve their grades, and also served as extra support for students in independent study and homeschool programs. I can assist with homework questions, making study guides to review for tests, and guiding students on skills they need to work on to be successful.

(Genesis C.) Yesterday was my last tutoring session with Clare for this school year. Geometry has become something that I've found to be fascinating as a result of my tutoring sessions with her! She is sweet, patient, supportive, and has really helped me, especially with theorems. I look forward to possibly seeing her again in August or September!

(Genesis C.) Clare is a phenomenal geometry tutor!!! She explains the material well and therefore, helps me understand the material in a more methodical way. She is kind and she is also patient, while I am working through the problems. I feel as if I enjoy geometry more and more after the tutoring sessions that I have with her!!
