Learn math/statistics from a PhD with many years of college level teaching experience!
I have many different approaches to solving problems and can provide many different viewpoints. I first get a sense of the student's background, skill level and experience. Then I design my learning plan accordingly. I am able to explain math concepts inside and out as I do with university level students during lecture and office hours. I use an Apple pencil and share my screen on my computer. I write on the screen and allow the student to access the screen to show how well he/she is learning the lesson at hand. I can help with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, statistics, and some actuarial science prep courses. If interested, please feel free to inquire.

About Christopher H.
Hello there! Thanks for stopping by my profile. I am currently a full-time lecturer at Binghamton University in the Mathematics and Statistics department. I teach primarily courses in actuarial science, probability and statistics. I have many years working one-on-one with students taking college level math courses. I have a passion for solving math problems and explaining the solutions to students of all abilities. Through screen sharing I conduct tutoring sessions online, and I explain everything step by step. If you are confused, that's great! That means you are really challenging yourself. The next step is to straighten out the confusion, and what was once seemingly complex will now appear quite elementary. Each obstacle is only an obstacle until you overcome it. There is nothing that can stop you from learning something new. Just keep an open mind and let all the knowledge come pouring on in! Start with simple problems, and work to more complex ones.
