I've been taking 1:1 Korean lessons with Park Cheol Hong for a year now and I cannot recommend him enough as a teacher. He is incredibly dedicated, patient, kind, and invested in his students' growth. He's willing to check homework and answer questions between lessons, and can answer every follow-up question / context question I pose! I started with virtually zero Korean language familiarity but can now have conversations with my dad (who is Korean). Park Cheol Hong provides helpful supplementary worksheets and videos to help me better understand concepts and makes topics relevant to my daily life. I absolutely plan to continue taking lessons as long as I can!
I've been learning Korean with Cheol Hong since April (it's August 30th). He is an incredibly dedicated teacher, patient, understanding and funny. He encourages me to practice my Korean every day (which I do) and he carefully reviews each submission between lessons to help me get better. I'm adopted and wanted to learn Korean so I could better connect to my Korean heritage (my grandmother is Korean) and I have learned so much during my studies. I would highly recommend Cheol Hong to anyone who is interested in learning Korean. He's the best!
My daughter's first lesson with Mr. Park was wonderful. He was thorough, engaging and gave her lots of encouragement throughout the lesson. The material he sent afterward to help with her homework between lessons will be very helpful. She can't wait for her next session with Mr. Park.
