While I am from southern California, I've spent most of the past 4 years backpacking and volunteering all over the world, including teaching conversational English in South America and Europe.
During my time in South America, I also learned Spanish so I know what it's like to learn a second language and that grammar and syntax classes are only half the battle. To truly speak a language, one must practice. And that's why I'm here: to help you practice and improve!
As a world traveler, I have a passion for learning about cultures, food, languages, and everything else that comes with different countries.
For me, helping others is the greatest joy of being alive. When combined with a love of languages, an open mind, and a positive attitude, teaching truly is what I love and what I am meant to be doing!
I am looking forward to helping you improve! Please let me know should you have any questions or concerns.
Andy is a great teacher and a man with a good heart. The lessons were in a friendly atmosphere. Competent, smiling and inspiring.
Thank you for nice conversations and help!
Andy helped me a lot. He can always find the easiest way to help a student to remember a certain rule or word - that helped me a lot. My English improved tremendously thanks to him, he's a great teacher. Last but not least, conversations with him were always really interesting+ Read More
Andy is the best English teacher I have ever had! He helped me a lot with grammar and pronunciation issues. Andy loves helping and learning, moreover he inspires his students with his passion for education and language. He can “shift-gears” and he is flexible when a lesson isn’t working. This teacher assesses his teaching throughout the lessons and finds new ways to present material to make sure that every student understands the key concepts. Great teacher!+ Read More
