To Whom it May Concern: I am a native, English-speaking teacher, certified to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL certified). Previously, I worked as a public school teacher in New Jersey, teaching high schoolers writing and literature at one of the most highly regarded schools in the country. And, in addition to working in the USA, I have also taught in Japan and in Colombia, South America. My classes are given both domestically and internationally, in-person and online, and are fully-customized, i.e., they’re tailored to meet the unique, individual needs of each learner. The preferred approach in working with my students is called the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, because it’s highly interactive and reflects the varied situations and activities that they experience throughout their daily lives. I firmly believe that proficiency in all four English areas should be the ultimate goal of any student, whether it be for their professional, academic, or personal objectives.
