My name is Ambria M.! I was born and raised in Jackson, MS, but moved to the DC area in August of 2010. I graduated from Howard University in 2014 and worked for the Environmental Protection Agency on for a year and a half before changing careers. I taught 8th Grade Science and 7th Grade Science in Houston and Austin, TX for 3 years. I am currently a Graduate Student at Baylor University.

I am passionate about science, the environment, and the arts. I am a trained pianist and dancer. I started playing the piano at the age of 8 and competed locally for 7 consecutive years, receiving Superior Ratings, medals, and trophies. I also started dancing at the age of 5. I attended a performing arts school for Dance my 4th grade year until the completion of my studies from high school. While there, I was trained in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Hip Hop. I was also a member of a contemporary dance company called I.AM.WE during the 2013-2014 school year at Howard University. Lastly, I have been teaching all of the aforementioned styles since October of 2013 in addition to Liturgical and Religious Mime Interpretive Dances.

I am excited about meeting you, whether you are a parent or prospective student, I look forward to building a strong relationship and foundation for whatever your learning needs are.
