I am an experienced tutor in mathematics, and a current student at the University of Florida. I've been tutoring in a variety of maths for about 5 years. I have experience tutoring in any math course from pre-algebra (math I) to college level calculus 3. This includes all of the following: Pre-Algebra (Math I) Geometry Algebra I Algebra 2 Pre-Calculus Calculus 1 (AP Calculus AB) Calculus 2 (AP Calculus BC) Calculus 3 AP Statistics IB HL Mathematics I have a very visual way of thinking, and I emphasize truly understanding the content rather than just memorizing methods. I always do my best to ensure that the student has a full understanding of the material so that it can be easily applied anywhere it is needed in any math course. Math is about expanding your way of thinking through logic. There is no problem in math that does not have a logically deduced answer, so if at any point in math you find yourself thinking that some things in math must be memorized because they simply do not make sense, I hope that I will be able to show you that that is not the case. What I'm best at is teaching the reasoning and the logic behind concepts in mathematics, and by showing the concept, it should provide you a better understanding so you can truly understand what it is you are doing and why.
