*I am available to accept clients currently and am now booking for Summer Lessons.* About me: Nurturing a love of learning is my life's work. I am a certified, masters level, tenured teacher with 15 years of experience. I pride myself on holding three certifications alongside an empathetic approach, a lot of creativity, and heart. I am an NYU and Providence College Graduate and am Orton Gillingham, Wilson, and Visualizing and Verbalizing Certified. I am also on the Math Leadership Team in my school district, designing innovative math curriculum, piloting programs, and being at the heart of advising others on what approaches and techniques work best for our students. I have worked with a range of ages including elementary school, middle, and high school students and understand how to relate and build a teaching rapport with every age and stage. I have also worked with many adults looking to expand their skills or pursue a new hobby. I individualize our time to unique learning profiles, interests, and goals. The flow and cadence of my sessions include a brief activation of prior knowledge, an interactive mini-lesson, followed by guided and independent practice.
