Learn to Read or Read to Learn with an Experienced Certified Teacher: Wilson and OG Certified.

*Available to accept clients currently and am now booking for Summer Tutoring.* About me: Nurturing a love of learning is my life's work and my passion. I am a certified, masters level, tenured teacher with 15 years of experience. I pride myself on holding three certifications alongside an empathetic approach, a lot of creativity, and heart. I am an NYU and Providence College Graduate and am Orton Gillingham, Wilson, and Visualizing and Verbalizing Certified. I have worked with a range of ages from young children to adults so we can start wherever you are and grow your skills from there! I use individualized, specialized, multisensory instruction and adapt to whatever you need. I help older students to expand their vocabulary, comprehend texts, or respond to reading with their own unique writing voice. I individualize our time to unique learning profiles, interests, and goals. The flow and cadence of my sessions varies based on your goal! We can start brief activation of prior knowledge, add an interactive lesson, and follow up with guided and independent practice. Sessions end with reflection on what students have done well with and how we can continue to grow skills.
