My friend who works there recommended me to sub for him and I started teaching there afterwards. I worked with kids aged from 4 to 12, using English as a tool to boost their confidence, public speaking ability and introducing them to acting. 

So while in class, we would cover language points, acting games and small plays to make it fun for the students, 

I guess I was rather popular because parents were trying to book me for private sessions for their kids.

I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and a Boston University graduate with my master's degree in broadcast journalism. I have experience in teaching kids English and performing and tutoring adult Chinese learners. I have my own method teaching Mandarin Chinese to give you the right start to picking up the language.
