I am willing to help students of any age in writing; however, I have experience specifically with middle school and high school students. I can help students to organize their thoughts into effective outlines, proofread, and craft well-written essays. This includes essay writing practice for the SAT.

I am a dedicated K-12 tutor, specifically with experience teaching both middle school and high school students in various core subject areas. I am very passionate about teaching and I am planning to pursue both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. I believe that education is specific to each and every individual; and therefore, every student deserves a specific approach. I work with my students to develop a love of learning in a way that best fits them, no matter their age or learning style.

Alex has tutored many students in various math subjects (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus) as well as Biology at our high school.  As a school counselor, I have been incredibly impressed with her professionalism.  She reaches out to the students' teachers to make sure her instruction is aligned with theirs, and she is both warm and reliable in her interactions with students.  She is going to be a fantastic teacher someday, and she is already a wonderful tutor and role model for her peers.
