My name is Mr. Aftab Pirani. I was inspired to enter this profession, largely because my mother was an educational assistant, and her engagement and collaboration with teachers equipped me with a great deal of exposure to the world of teaching, from a young age. Prior to my Education 1450 field experience, I also completed three years of work experience in Grades 1, 2, and 3. These wonderful and challenging years successfully reaffirmed that my skill set was truely suited for teaching. In addition, throughout my practicums, I have found that my involvement with athletics, fine arts, leadership, and mental health awareness, have served me relate to a variety of diverse students.

Hello!  My name is Aftab Pirani, and I'm thrilled to say this is my 5th year teaching high school English.  I grew up in Saint John, Canada and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in English Education degree from NBCC in 2019.  I began my teaching career in the Global Knowledge International School.  I taught for three years in this district before moving to teach IELTS ESL. 

I enjoy exercising, cooking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
