I have worked in the technology industry for over 25 years and trained several developers. I am competent in several languages and love teaching coding.

My five years working as a tutor since graduating from MIT University as a Computer Science major, as well as working as a Software Developer for six years has shown me that study skills are rarely explicitly taught in a school setting, but are among the most important for achieving consistent academic performance. Study skills are incorporated into all of my sessions with new students. It's an especially important focus with those that are struggling in multiple subjects. Together we look at time management, setting short-term and long-term goals, keeping ourselves honest about completing goals, as well as efficient backpack and agenda organization. In the end, Group discussion creates new and innovative ideas.

My lessons aren't just about learning programming; we are going to make some seriously awesome projects that most people would never believe they would be able to make! Some things that I want to end up having you, the student, develop include a facial recognition system, some text-based video games, a password generator and encrypter/decrypter, a text-based life simulator (yes!), and more!

Self-taught software engineer with experiences in autonomous vehicles, high-frequency trading, and cybersecurity. I am also currently attending a top 10 computer science Masters program at Georgia Tech specializing in machine learning/artificial intelligence to fill in the gaps in my knowledge.

I have over 15 years of university teaching experience in computer science.
