5 years ago, I started an unexpected and atypical journey into the world of computer science. As a self-taught developer, I'm familiar with the many struggles that come with learning how to code. I'm also appreciative of the many rewards that it brings!

Even if you're not planning to enter a STEM discipline, learning how to code and gaining exposure to concepts in computer science will give you access to a unique set of tools that will help you to excel in any domain.

I spent 3 years as a Computer Science Instructor with a nonprofit organization providing instruction and professional development for people of all ages, working to increase computer science exposure in public schools. The one concept that I always stress in my instruction is:

Computer science is not the study of computers. It's the study of problems, whether they can be solved, and how best we can solve them.

If you've ever had a problem you wanted to solve but didn't know where to start, learning to code can teach

Hello, fellow Pythonians,

There here is always a new package, feature, or development framework being added to the Python programming language, even 20+ years after its inception in 1991(also the year I was born) by its creator Guido van Rossum.

There are so many different practical use cases for the language including Object-Oriented Programming, Machine Learning, Data Structures & Algorithms, Web Development, Data Analytics, Task Automation, and Cyber Security to name a few.

I personally enjoy teaching the basic concepts first, then building on more advanced concepts in a project-oriented manner, so basically, LEARN PYTON BY DOING PROJECTS!!!

Project learning is great for cementing concepts and building valuable skills fo the workforce.

Below are my areas of focus:
- Python Basics
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Data Science
- Web development
- Machine Learning
