I am currently working as a Korean, ESL, and Japanese tutor. Because I am also a language learner (English and Japanese), I know why and in what area students get confused and struggle. I am confident that I can help you to achieve your goal! Let’s do it together!

Over the past five years I have taught Japanese to over 50 students from all over the world.
I am willing to teach students of all ages. Beginner to advanced speakers welcome!

We can focus on all four skills; speaking, listening, reading, and writing, but if a student would like to focus on only speaking, we can certainly do that as well. We also talk about cultural aspects of Japan and cover the vocabularies related to the cultural aspects.

Japanese is known as one of the most complicated languages. Learning to speak the language, however, doesn't have to - and shouldn't - be complicated at all! Simplified, structured methods that I use will help you stay the course and accelerate your progress for your personal or professional needs. The ability of not only understanding but also having authentic conversations can be yours!

Having been a teacher of Japanese as a second language certified by the Education Ministry of Japan since the 90's, I've had the privilege of teaching diverse learners in age, nationality, proficiency, and more. As your guide, coach, and partner I will fully customize the program together with you so that you can gain the greatest value of ever minute, every lesson.
