Before the lessons, I like to talk with parents, students, and/or teachers to fully gauge what they have been struggling with and how to best help them. Then I identify the student's gap in knowledge while helping them complete their homework and give them additional drilling problems as needed to help them fully master the materials and do well on their tests.
Since solving calculus problems often requires the knowledge from the previous courses, such as algebra, geometry, and precalculus, I drill them on these materials as needed so that the students can be fully caught up.

WHO ARE YOU? You are the future star of a Lin-Manuel Miranda show, if he would just write about your life for a change! You are a business owner whose voice is tired at the end of the day (*cough* singing lessons strengthen speaking *cough*) You're a player who's on the way to becoming a sin

What is my approach? First of all, I listen carefully, very carefully. I believe it is important for an excellent job to know precisely what my client wants to accomplish. Understanding this is the prerequisite to give good advice, guidance and then, of course, a plan, a kind of strategy to follow in order to reach these goals. There will be a permanent interaction between my client and myself to monitor the progress, eventually speed up the tempo or, if necessary, to slow down.
There is no dogma; there is only one main criterion: success.
My specialization is to prepare individuals for rigorous tests like the SAT I and II – German, AP German (Advanced Placement Test), and for the challenging German language admission test at universities in Germany. I spent two decades of my professional life teaching English in Germany, authoring
In my time with Wolfgang I have gained a greater appreciation for the German language, culture and idiosyncrasies. He has far-reaching expertise that goes beyond a text book. His linguistic knowledge will keep you on the right track and he will ensure you are having a fun time as well.
In the two years I have known Wolfgang he has been generous, challenging and a joy to be around and I look forward to each class.
