Music has been my passion since I started piano when I was 5 yrs old and the violin when I was 7 yrs old. I continued with lessons until I entered the Detroit High School for Performing Arts. During my sophomore year, I took additional classes at Wayne Sate University for music theory and in my senior year I took on my first piano students. I have been teaching piano, violin and music theory ever since. I have also choreographed and taught dance for many years as dancing has been with me since my first lessons at 4 yrs old. My focus is in ballet, tap and jazz. I am a graduate from Eastern Michigan University where I was actively a part of the music and dance program. *** Lesson Details *** I remember my piano teacher and I try to keep her balance of fun and learning. I am a very fun teacher, but I do expect my students to work, and learn. I introduce learning games and have contests. I also regularly quiz my students. For the younger students I like to inform the parents about what they should be practicing and of any theory exercises they may have for the week. Music is a rewarding and enjoyable passion that I try to pass on to my students. *** Travel Equipment *** Students should have their own instruments. I will provide the first books, but they will have to provide the books that come after and I will assist them with that. *** Specialties *** I've been doing ballet, tap and jazz for 16 years and i taught all of them for about two years. I teach classical piano and violin.

Violin Lessons In Queen Creek, AZ

By Tiffany W. - Queen Creek Violin Teacher

My name is Tiffany Taylor and I am a violin instructor in the Town of Queen Creek, Arizona, where we pride ourselves on keeping our country feel in the middle of the city! Taking violin lessons in Queen Creek is a great way to keep our country roots alive. Learning the fiddle means an opportunity to perform music in the nearby rodeo and all the special town events and talent shows. Pieces such as The Devil Went Down To Georgia and Orange Blossom Special always get the crowd on their feet!

By being so close to the city, you can choose to go the classical route as well. I have personally participated in a large number of drama performances as a part of their live orchestra. It is really rewarding to be a part of a cast and become a part of their art through the talent of music. I even got to play in a performance here locally with Lindsey Stirling because I have been so active in the performing community! Talk about star struck!

We have several close community colleges that offer strong orchestra programs that are available to the public to participate and perform in. There are many schools that offer orchestra classes that really help students find a sense of community and friendship and a place they can feel they belong. I played for Basha High School, which is conducted by Ajay Patel; a highly successful cellist who has been the private teacher and school teacher to one of the gals in the up and coming country group FireFly which has opened for Country Thunder recently! Within their stellar program, there are chair tests to encourage the students to keep aiming higher, which makes it such a great idea to have private violin lessons in Queen Creek through TakeLessons!

I have participated in all of the programs mentioned, all the while maintaining lessons with my private tutor. Lessons are an invaluable way to quickly gain knowledge and I can tell you from personal experience that my dedication to private lessons is the sole reason I am successful and can have so many fun experiences with the violin today. Teaching others to have the same love and passion for the violin is something I look forward to every day.

Taking violin lessons in Queen Creek is the perfect forum to begin a relationship with music and to benefit from the expertise of a knowledgeable teacher. I consider violin to be a part of my lifestyle. I have formed lifelong friendships and have so many memories with them growing up in orchestra together. Whether you're playing the fiddle at a rodeo, the violin for an orchestra, or simply enjoying performances from some of our great local talent, I know you won't regret it!
