My personal philosophy on teaching is that as an instructor it is my responsibility to do more than just teach movement to people. I am a role model for my students and encourage them to be their personal best and to challenge themselves. I fell in love with dance at a very early age and wish to share my passion with as many people as I can regardless of their age, financial background, social status, or whatever it may be. Dance is not only a beautiful art form, but also an outlet for self-expression and personal growth. Where we can impact and inspire others to push their limits and embrace who they are, we are inspiring individual development that could potentially change the world.

Angelina began her fitness journey in the dance world. She danced professionally with the Boston Ballet for several years. There she learned what it takes to maintain a healthy body and lifestyle to keep up with this demanding sport. She later performed on Broadway and traveled worldwide with several Broadway Shows including Fosse, Spamalot, and the Revival of West Side Story. She then appeared as a regular on Season 1 of NBC’s “SMASH”. Though her career as a performer was very fulfilling, there was something missing. She realized she wanted to FEEL Stronger on inside, and in turn she had to BE Stronger on the outside. This is when she discovered her passion for fitness. With the help of her Trainer and now husband, Colt Prattes, she began training seriously in the gym. She competed in her first Body Building Competition in 2011 and took the National Title at the Fitness America Competition of “Model America”. Angelina also holds the World Title for “Best Body Bikini” through the INBF/WNBF World Championship. As her passion for the industry grew, together she and Colt decided it was time to share their love and knowledge of fitness to inspire others. From here, the vision of RippedTogether was born.
