*** Lesson Details ***
I am pretty easy going. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease, but we do need to focus and can have fun doing it. :)
I utilize various methods for each instrument, which is determined by the students learning style and ability; needs, so this can change as time goes on (not sticking to one particular publishers materials). I have done (and continue to do) extensive research into materials available for each instrument I teach, and supplement with my own, to utilize the best out there for "YOU" for the best possible progress. While ensuring an extremely well-rounded musical education, so you can progress at the best possible rate. Since each student's potential is different, each will progress differently. This is also determined by your dedication to daily practice (the more you practice, the quicker you will progress & the more accomplished you will become). This is a 'Team Effort'; I give the guidance and tools. You practice, utilize learn these tools, and off we go! The sky is the limit!

So what about teaching? Everybody wants the best. The best scores. The highest rates. The highest salary. We want control of our life. Everybody does. But in the process it seems we forgot to have quality of living. Quality is the most important. Each person is unique and should be treated in a unique way. What comes first? Question or answer? When you just arrive at your first day at school do you have final exams? First the teacher shares some knowledge during class. Depending on the teacher's talent and passion and love for his work the students will learn something. Then only you have exams. Life is the biggest exam off all. Every day we are being tested. With our family, friends, work. With our patience, our punctuality, our perfection. Hopefully wisdom will come out of this process. All we need is a little support to all grow together. Teaching is a big responsibility. Parents and teachers, it is our duty to teach the best. Let's do it together. Thank you

About Me

I love helping others. That is what drew me to tutoring and personal training. Both allow me to meet clients where they are and help them get to where they want to go! I have experience working with a wide age range: 1.5 - 55 years old! I have worked with students on math, reading, writing, critical thinking, fine motor skills, word and letter recognition, phonics, ACT prep, Spanish, Probability & Statistics, and High School English. I have also trained various clients for weight loss, cardiovascular and muscular endurance, flexibility training, strength, fitness competitions, hip hop and tap dance. I believe with hard work and dedication, you can achieve any goal. I would love the opportunity to help you get there!

I have been tutoring formally for 3 years, but I have informally been doing it elementary school! I've always been the go-to person when one of my peers needed help with their school work. During my sessions, I like to keep it interesting for my students. For example, I work with an autistic child 1-2 day/week on reading, writing, math, money, critical thinking, following directions, and fine motor skills. Because he has a short attention span, I like to break up the written work with games and puzzles to keep him engaged. Your sessions are all about YOU and I will tailor it to your needs.
