Hannah N. Encinitas, CA

I am extremely passionate about health and fitness. Since 2011, I've lost more than 60 pounds, and earned my Spinning® and Group Fitness Instructor certifications. I teach weekly cycle classes in Encinitas, California.

About Hannah

I'm a San Diego State University alumnus, with my B.A. in journalism. After graduating in 2011, I worked in local T.V. news before my dad was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. I managed and contributed to my dad’s incredibly popular blog and social media platforms before he passed away, after 11 months of bravely battling and blogging. The diagnosis was a catalyst for building my own social media marketing consultancy, Hannah Jane Media.
I write a popular motivational blog and I have been honored to be a keynote speaker at San Diego Women's Week and several Relay for Life events. I am also a top fundraiser for cancer-related causes throughout San Diego.
Additionally, I am extremely passionate about health and fitness. Since 2011, I've lost more than 60 pounds, ...

Hannah has been a tutor/mentor for my daughter for approximately two years. She has assisted her with advanced-level history (U.S. and World), English/Literature (textual analysis and argumentation), essay writing (on a variety of subjects), creative writing, and speech (writing and presentation). Over the last two years, Hannah has also helped my daughter study for Honors and AP Chemistry quizzes and tests. Hannah's teaching and subject-matter skills are top-notch, but she brings much more to the job! Hannah's positivity, encouragement, and support extend beyond academics to motivate and inspire my daughter. My daughter is not just academically stronger because of Hannah, she's happier and self-confident. Hannah is a rare gem. I highly recommend her.

About Merrin

Hi! I have been passionate about health and fitness since falling in love with the gym 20 years ago.
It took me years to learn that it is a combination of healthy nutrition and proper exercise as well as proper form and breathing that created the changes I was seeking. I will help motivate you and teach you exercise techniques while coaching you through healthy nutritional choices.
I love sharing the knowledge I have and the knowledge I continue to gain with my clients and class participants. Numerous times I have been approached with a hug and tears and a story about how I contributed to helping make changes that brought someone closer to their goal. Those stories, those tears, make me want to work even harder to help people find the lifestyle changes that work for them.
