Debbie K. Portland, OR

About Me

Tutoring has been a major part of my life for over 7 years and I love it. Seeing the excitement in a student's eyes when they finally get something they've struggled with is why I do what I do. My strength is in getting to know the way a student learns best and finding techniques that support that style and help the student grow.

I have experience working with mild autism and have multiple references if interested.

Hannah N. Encinitas, CA

About Me

I'm a San Diego State University alumnus, with my B.A. in journalism. After graduating in 2011, I worked in local T.V. news before my dad was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. I managed and contributed to my dad’s incredibly popular blog and social media platforms before he passed away, after 11 months of bravely battling and blogging. The diagnosis was a catalyst for building my own social media marketing consultancy, Hannah Jane Media.
I write a popular motivational blog and I have been honored to be a keynote speaker at San Diego Women's Week and several Relay for Life events. I am also a top fundraiser for cancer-related causes throughout San Diego.
Additionally, I am extremely passionate about health and fitness. Since 2011, I've lost more than 60 pounds, and earned my Spinning® and Group Fitness Instructor certifications.
I'm thrilled to collaborate and help students on their paths to success!

Giselle Gigi L. Bronx, NY

About Me

I am a native South African, with 15 years experience in health, wellness and fitness. Certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, I create success stories via helping everyone manage weight, learn about how living healthy can be easy. Teaching how exercise, movement and eating can help your academics excel.

My lessons are challenging, but fun. You will have an experience that you've never had, as I include my knowledge and wisdom from my travels in the eastern and western Caribbean, as well as living in England. I love Frederick Douglass quotes, my favorite is "It's easier to grow strong children than fix broken men!"
I also believe we are all children at heart, and we never stop growing.

I am looking forward to a journey with you, and know we will have a great experience.
:)
Gigi
