About Me

I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham.
I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I strongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc....
The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

About Me

If you're searching for the best golf instructor to hugely improve your game - you're in the right place.
Similar to any other profession, there are golf instructors that are true "students of the game" and clearly understand the physics and mechanics of the golf swing.
Conversely there is no shortage of mediocre instructors out there that are able to over-charge for their services simply because they've just been in the business for so long... or are able to over-charge merely because they have a "golf-range-agreement" with the course where they teach out of... or worse yet, both. I'm sorry but it's frustrating to see mediocre instructors take people's money without truly helping them.
Golf is the most difficult of all sports and if you're serious about improving you need an instructor that has a clear understanding of the physics and bio-mechanics involved in the golf swing.
If you ask an instructor what elements make up the optimum swing, and he either can't answer or gives you the age-old lame answer of... "every person has a swing that's best for them"... please, find a different instructor. Even if it's not me... move on.
Absent some major physical limitation of a golf student, the laws of physics and body mechanics do not change from person to person. There IS an optimal way for everyone to swing the club.
Just take a quick look at the advances I make with ALL my students in just one lesson. Come take one lesson and you'll experience golf shots you never thought were possible.
Granted, because each person's stature is different (tall, short, shorter/longer arms/legs) each person's swing may "look" slightly different, but swings that produce CONSISTENT shots all have the same 4 ELEMENTS.
If you're not working with an instructor that understands how every single element works together (such as: shaft-plane, pronation, supination, line-of-compression, lag, release of the left-arm-shaft-angle... just to name a few) you're likely not going to see great improvement in a short amount of time.
I don't believe in and don't offer 30 minute lessons. Although I always achieve results within minutes of when I start making changes, I don't start making changes until I've let the student warm-up and s/he starts hitting the club they need help with. Plus it takes time to communicate both "what" someone is supposed to do and "why" they're supposed to do it. Maybe it's just me but I feel instructors who offer 30 minute lessons are more concerned about making money than helping. Sorry, but that's my opinion.
I want to teach you what you need to know as quickly and efficiently as possible, as well as show you how to use your cell-phone's video feature so you can become your own golf.
NEW students will receive a Private FULL One-Hour Golf Lesson. Including using the New CMV iPad Video so you can immediately see your swing frame-by-frame... before/after... as well as compared side-by-side to tour-pro swings.
As my students can tell you... I am extremely detailed in my instruction. As you probably already know... when it comes to golf... "the devil is in the details".

With your lesson you'll receive a Golf Lesson Recap Video with narration emailed to you so that you can go back and review any information you don't remember. Which also helps you without having to come back and spend more money with me.
Although those who play against you will regret you took advantage of this offer... you will be VERY glad you did.
This facility allows us to move from the range to the chipping/putting area... easily so we can see how your new technique holds up under different shot demands... because THAT is the real test.

About Me

Over the years, I have learned many skills, primarily because of my willingness to try anything once. I have taught children as young as two years old in China how to speak English, I help people every day with their nutrition, I mentor business leaders all over the world who run businesses that are designed to heal the Earth, and I even taught my 6-month old kitten how to play fetch.

I love to teach because it creates something even more powerful than Education - it creates connections. Connections to the world around us, to life, to happiness, to fun. I care deeply for others and the most beautiful thing to see are the smiles on peoples faces when they succeed. Let us succeed together!
