*** Lesson Details ***
If you want to learn something you have on your phone, YouTube, mp3 player, etc just bring it to me and I'll teach you to play it. It can be anything, pop, hip-hop, reggae, trance, Frozen, etc. We will focus on ear training and rhythm so you can play anything you hear, and play it with a groove you can dance to. I don't focus on teaching with sheet music because it's boring and makes the student dependent on reading. When you express your ideas through language, can you only say what you are reading? If you don't have something to read from, are you unable to communicate?

My approach is to create a collaborative, non-judgmental learning environment, and my goal is to help you internalize the "learning" so that you own the material, and not just know the subject matter. I invite you to contact me, so that I can learn about what weaknesses or challenges you are facing, and together we can develop tools and strategies around these areas of improvement.
