This was my first lesson with Zeynep. I have had several Tutors over the past 4 years. Zeynep was ready for my arrival. She was friendly, yet very professional. She watched me play a short piece and was able to discern from that where I needed help. Zeynep was able to give me new tips on bowing and finger placement. I am certainly looking forward to my next a Lesson with Zeynep.

My daughter had the pleasure of taking lessons with Zeynep this past summer in the PALS program in Aspen. She loved each week when it was lesson time. This is what Addison had to say, "She always would say the area I needed to work on nicely. I loved that she gave me knew things to learn at each lesson. If I didn't understand, she would keep encouraging me until I did." This was an excellent experience!
Bethany
A unique and special experience! My daughter always looked forward to her sessions with Zeynep. She has been her mentor for the past two summers at the PALS program. Once after a lesson my daughter told me that she was surprised how much better she played the song after her session with Zeynep. I love the way Zeynep engages with my daughter and brings out the best in her.

My name is Jerry. I LOVE music and passing my knowledge on to others. I have played many different instruments in many different kinds of bands. It all one major thing in common, it was FUN! If you are not having fun while learning an instrument you won't want to learn. Lessons can be fun AND educational at the same time. I have had many parents tell me I'm one of the best teachers they have ever seen. (A couple of them were public school teachers themselves). I truly want my students to succeed and I will do everything in my power to help them accomplish that!

Jerry is a wonderful instructor. I wasn’t sure how online lessons would go but they have been seamless and fun and my son is making progress with the bugle. I would highly recommend this format and this teacher. The convenience and quality of instruction are excellent. We are signing up for more lessons and may move on to another instrument once my son feels confident on the bugle.

"Rich was happy after the first class and he started to wonder, would Kelvin be available to teach him a guitar lessons as well (we thought it is a great beginning) :)

Also, Kelvin immediately pointed out that the violin we have picked is too small for Rich, where other teacher didn't say anything about it. We changed the size and it helped a lot with holding violin and feeling more comfortable. Thank you !"

"Miss Antoinette is wonderful. She worked with my 3 year old for beginner lessons (resting position, listening and following directions). My daughter adores her. We live in NJ, so the commute to manhattan became too much for my daughter. But the experience was worth it, she learned a great deal from Miss Antoinette who was patient, accommodating, and fun."

"My son has been playing violin for close to a year now. He has been lucky enough to have Danielle as his instructor that whole time. She makes the lessons fun but challenging. She is extremely encouraging. My son is on the shy side, so when I saw him take the stage to play a solo at the end of the school year, it was awesome. She is a wonderful teacher!"

"Perfect balance of professionalism and passion

Larisa was not our first teacher but she is no doubt the best one. She is highly professional, she accentuates the right positioning of the hands, but the music and emotional expression is on the first place. She combines the best of the Russian music teaching tradition with very attentive and fun environment for kids. She is very sensitive to child's needs and structure her lesson very individually . Not to mention her excellent communication and reliability. She also has a very positive attitude and my daughter is always looking forward to her violin lessons. Thank you, Larisa!"

Easy Violin Music for Beginners and Beyond

Simplified sheet music makes it easier than ever to move from bland scales and exercises to pieces you actually recognize. Add these pieces to your repertoire early on and you’ll return to th …
