I am not a one size fits all instructor; I cater the lesson to your needs and goals, and I'm very confident you'll be happy with the results. I've been teaching music for 5 years, starting first as a University Music Theory Tutor, and then I started private lessons shortly after. I've taught classes in both Kansas City and now Arlington, ages 8+. I'm a Worship Pastor here, so my primary musical background is contemporary worship music and classical music. With that said, I want my students to love playing music, so we'll learn whatever songs help you grow AND have fun.
Hey ALL! I'm excited to be your piano or guitar teacher. I've been teaching music for the last 5 years, and my teaching experience is backed by performance experience. I'm a Worship Pastor at a local church here in Arlington, and a worship leader at The Prayer Room Missions Base in Pantego, with a

I have a wealth of experience as a trumpeter and music teacher, and hold three degrees in music: DMA from Univ. of Georgia, MM from UT-Austin, and BM from N. Dakota State Univ. I am trained mostly in and play primarily "classical" trumpet, but have experience performing and teaching jazz and pop/commercial styles. Working with kids and adults on music is enjoyable and fulfilling, and I strive to help students as much as possible.
My name is Chris, and I have been playing trumpet for over twenty years. I grew up in the TX public schools and was a two time TMEA All-State Musician. I hold three degrees in music from accredited universities: DMA at UGA, MM at UT-Austin, BM at NDSU. I enjoy teaching and helping others, and have

There is a lot to learn when it comes to singing. Such as ear training, scales (major, minor, chromatic etc.), call-and-response, rhythm, melodies etc. There is also the anatomy, and techniques such breathing, posture etc. Also, while you are singing, its very important to feel the emotions, to achieve that, you will realize that acting and singing go along well together.
One thing about me is that, being a Music Therapy major, I give my heart and importance to the clients/students, I help them achieve their goals and needs.
With me, you will learn, achieve as well as build a rapport.
Hello! I am Swara! I recently graduated from Berklee College of Music, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy. I have been singing since the age 3. I have been told that even before I could speak, I could sing. I have been exposed to various kinds of music. I started with some basics of Carnatic

Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from DePaul University
My take on teaching music lessons are from a K-12 theory to help the student stay engaged. This is why I have half of my work with students be on popular pieces (Radio songs, musicals, movie soundtracks) with the other half of our work being on standard pieces that every student needs to be a successful musician. Both rep. types give me the opportunity to work on technique and style differences that no other format of the curriculum can have.
In addition, I have had lesson teaching technique classes with Floyd Cooley who is a world-renowned brass pedagogue.
I am a student at DePaul University teaching lessons at a price significantly below the Chicago average. My lessons are good for students because it provides an opportunity to explore styles of music that the student is interested while also bringing those styles into the standard of Chicago horn p

I have spent the last 5 years developing a 10 step program that all of my students work through when they begin with me! During that time, I was also a part of a performing arts group where I had the opportunity to teach, perform and travel all over the world to countries like Germany, Poland, and Japan. I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels to develop their technique. My goal as an instructor is to help you to become the most prepared artist, no matter where you are. During your time with me, we will address topics like: vocal health, audition technique, rehearsal technique and etiquette, the proper way to approach new music and music styles, and more! Once you have completed the initial ten step program, the lessons are then tailored around you and the advancement of your skills so you can take your career as an artist to the next level.
Jacqueline is an artist who discovered her love for performing in her very early years. From the time that she was able to speak, she was singing; often giving private (and typically mandatory) performances for her family in the living room. As she grew older, the fireplace was replaced by a stage,

He was great at giving me the knowledge and exercises to improve as a player, and challenge myself with new exercises. Jeremy also made sure to create a practice schedule that I would realistically be able to do outside of lessons.
After taking lessons from him, I was able to become first chair flute in my high school's wind ensemble (the highest level) as a junior, as well as excel in marching band. He is an overall passionate and dedicated teacher who creates a fun and educational learning environment.
I have no doubt that he has continued to grow as an instructor as he continued his musical education.
It is my pleasure to recommend Jeremy!"
I took bass lessons with Jeff in my formative years as a musician (as did many of my friends). He is the perfect teacher: Highly skilled, informative, patient, friendly, challenging and a lot of fun!
Jeff was more than willing to teach me things I wanted to know but more importantly, he set me straight on developing good technique, note and chord chart reading, understanding theory, ear training and improvising. He also turned me on to tons of great life changing music that was not yet on my young radar! He is a walking encyclopedia of musical knowledge.
Lastly, he has remained a friend throughout my whole life. I've even had the honor of playing many gigs with him, something I would have never imagined as a young beginner!
From beginners to advanced students, Jeff is your man.
Thank you for everything, Master Stetson!"
She is both a fantastic instructor and pianist. The energy she brings forth is perfect to motivate any child to want to perfect and improve their playing capabilities."
When you're learning how to play the violin, you may notice that the quality and type of strings you have can make a big difference on your tone and overall performance. But with so many types available, which is best for you? What are the best violin strings made of, and how do you select the right kind? Typically, violin strings are made of three types of material: (1) Metal Strings Metal strings - also called steel core strings - are a very common choice for violinists, as they produ …
