I was raised in the Suzuki method, trained in it, and I believe in it. It is the most effective school of education for new musicians who want to learn reliably. I've been teaching it 9 years.

I can talk to you for days about the method, but I will sum it up as quickly as i can.

1: Immersion
2: Daily Practice
3: Listening
4: Strong relationship between student, teacher and parent.

If the student listens everyday, practices everyday, practices what i tell them, and is made to love the music, you will learn. I've taught hundreds of students this way and when all the conditions are met, all my students have had success.

About Joshua

Joshua has been a musician for over seventeen years and has been teaching for nine. He is an award winning composer, critical thinker, and an straight-forward teacher. Joshua has a high standards for his students and himself. Joshua has studied Suzuki method under Dr. Paula Bird for four years and h

Leanna is incredible. She's kind and patient and extremely easy to work with, which is rare for someone with such deep experience in a field. One thing that continued to stand out and amaze me is her unbelievable ear. Even in remote sessions via zoom, she could tell immediately if one note in a chord or progression was off, and helped me fix it. I've heard the same from other students of hers.

If you're a serious student, considering music as a career, or in any competitive sense, Leanna is an irreplaceable ally with the skill to push you further than you may have thought possible. Absolutely recommend.
Zachary
As a beginner, taking lessons with Leanna has offered a structured approach to learning the fundamentals of piano, along with developing good technique, which has made the process less daunting. After only a couple of lessons, I feel more confident not only in my playing, but also in understanding elements of music theory (like reading sheet music) that I expected to be more difficult to grasp.
Sonya T.
Excellent goal-oriented teacher! Leanna is able to provide effective feedback and instruction to an advanced student like myself. I was impressed with the detailed coaching provided in the online environment.

I work with beginning, intermediate, and advanced bass players, helping them to understand how music works, how to get the sounds they want from the bass guitar, and how all of it relates to music they like.

About Rob

I'm a professional bass player in Austin Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World. At one time or another I've played just about every style of music, and I have more than a decade of teaching experience. I love 'opening doors' for students, helping them understand how music works and how they can

Rob will meet you where you are and guide you to where you are trying to go. He is extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and encouraging.
I play left-handed, and he is the first teacher to not hassle or try to sway me to be anything but me.

He has been playing 40+ years, and proven his commitment through study which culminated in graduating from the Bass Institute in Los Angeles. He brings a level of both scholastic and practical knowledge which is well worth the price of admission.

Rob is going to provide a level of knowledge and personalized coursework that is absolutely not going to be had elsewhere. Due to my location, we conduct the lessons online. I will say it has not been a hinderance. I started lessons with tempered expectations, but Rob has continually gone above and beyond.

Anybody looking to deep-dive into the culture, craft, and practice of playing bass would be extremely well served to seek out Rob.
Sulley S.
Great teacher! We went over the different chords and he picked out a song I liked to go over together and made me some sheet music with the fret positions labeled for each note. He was patient and gave me room to fix my own mistakes.

I'm enjoying my bass lessons with Rob. He explains every concept thoroughly and always checks in with me to make sure I understand what he's teaching. He responds quickly to any questions I have in between lessons. I also appreciate the notes he provides after every lesson as it gives me something to practice and helps me review what I learned.

"Eric is a really great teacher. He has so much knowledge and experience and really listens to his students and is flexible with the music he teaches you. "We have come to know Niki as a very knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated teacher. My daughter was only 5 when she had her first piano lessons, and I was interested, most of all, in understanding whether her interest in music and the piano in a common room in our building was mature enough to begin music lessons - or not. Niki gave me a very knowledgeable assessment of my daughter's readiness to begin studying music, and then went on to give her piano lessons that were right for her level and age. She definitely developed my daughter's eagerness to learn more, and left her looking forward very much to her weekly piano class. We can wholeheartedly recommend Niki."

He pays close attention to your playing and points out the subtlest details in your technique while offering simple methods to help you improve. "I strongly endorse Tony as a master pop and classical guitar teacher (as well as a dynamic, highly creative guitarist and pop/rock/folk tenor singer). I received a Master’s Degree from the Juilliard School in 1986 in voice, and he and I have worked on a weekly basis at churches and concerts since 2007. His mastery of incredibly rapid finger techniques in all major and minor scales, widely varied strum technique in so many different styles, understanding of audio production and vocal-instrumental microphone usage, as well as soulful improvised counter melodies is unmatched in my experiences. He also taught my son guitar, as well as many of my parishioners at my church, and they went on to playing frequently during church services and many other venues. His manner with children and teens is very gentle, humorous and witty, and is instantly beloved by all who meet him. Throughout my career I have rarely heard an artist who has more artistic and musical impact in concert or religious events than Mr. Tony. And the line of people wishing to meet him after concerts is so long that he does not leave events for more than 90 minutes or more. You cannot do better anywhere than having Mr. Tony as a teacher, colleague or friend."
