After 26 years of twirling baton, 15 years of teaching baton, I have learned how to teach everything from the basics of baton twirling to cleaning and creating Advanced routines. I create unique lessons for each student. I have class content from just learning how to hold a baton to teaching students who hope to teach baton twirling on their own one day. I have worked with all age levels, and as soon as you believe your child is ready to take the leap (pun intended), reach out and contact me to set up his or her first lesson!
Hi there! You may be asking yourself if it's really possible to learn baton twirling online. I have taught over 20 students virtually in the last 2 years. When learning with me through TakeLessons, I include extra videos between lessons to break down elements, and I allow you to screen record if you

I prioritize understanding over mechanical repetition. I do not force homework or busywork but rather I try to inspire the student to enjoying playing and learning. I normally teach half playing and half study during lessons but that’s flexible obviously. I love teaching and I believe in my students.

I was raised in the Suzuki method, trained in it, and I believe in it. It is the most effective school of education for new musicians who want to learn reliably. I've been teaching it 9 years.
I can talk to you for days about the method, but I will sum it up as quickly as i can.
2: Daily Practice
4: Strong relationship between student, teacher and parent.
If the student listens everyday, practices everyday, practices what i tell them, and is made to love the music, you will learn. I've taught hundreds of students this way and when all the conditions are met, all my students have had success.
Piano lessons are structured with a focus on what the student needs. We ensure a strong with a foundation of scales, note reading, and ear training, to give the student the versatility to go in any musical direction they like, and make them a well rounded musician. As a musician, I wear many hats: opera singer, voice teacher, choir director, cantor, accompanist, and vocal coach. I work with singers of all levels - I believe that everyone can learn to sing, and that my job as a voice teacher is to help each student uncover what is unique and special about his or her own voice. My foundational training is classical singing, and those principles are what I teach, but I also try to help students apply healthy singing to whatever style they wish to sing. Whether you are looking for basic vocal technique, specific audition prep, solfege and sight-singing, or performance coaching, let me know how I can best help you achieve your goals! I hope that all of my students develop not only their skills as singers and performers, but also along the way develop and nourish a love of music and music-making.
I’m an opera singer based in Austin, TX, a city I’ve called home for the past 9 years. In addition to both classic and contemporary opera, I perform a wide range of repertoire: musical theater, Gregorian chant, choral music, you name it! I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas Tech Un

Ard is just wonderful with the children. He was able to teach them at their level with an enthusiasm, kindness, and insightfulness that engaged them immediately. And, although Ard has a playful side with the children, he was also very serious about learning music, and there were very clear expectations for the children. The lessons were a perfect blend of fun and learning.
Ard is not only an incredibly talented musician, but also a passionate, energetic, and wonderfully interesting person. If we ever move back to the area, we would call on Ard again in a heartbeat."
Thank you Robin."

Ooh, girl. Full honesty here, I read my topic for this week and I whisper-screamed “YES!!” in my little home office. As a female singer/songwriter, I have found inspiration from many a woman, from many a genre, known, and unknown. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy my favorite article to date. Let’s start with the queen herself, Dolly Parton. She has written more than her fair share of hits, including ones you probably had no idea that were her creations. (Hannah Montana theme song? …
