    About Tom C.

Greetings and welcome! Whatever your learning goals, dreams and aspirations, I am here to explore and partner with you to accomplish, achieve, enjoy and celebrate your learning objectives with you. I have experience working in the social services and public sector much of my career as a social worker and advocate, and I've assisted adults with special needs and people seeking to improve their lives to get the help and support they needed to empower themselves to leading more fulfilling and contributing lives. I've worked as a team member in a variety of medical and mental health settings, as a social work professional. I also have experience volunteering with children in a variety of way, including tutoring, mentoring and encouraging youth. I look forward to getting acquainted with you, and exploring together a possible excellent match for your learning needs, goals and interests! -Tom Quick note on my passion for learning as a way of life ~ As a passionate lifelong learner, researcher, educator, tutor and coach, I embrace an unbounded curiosity of wonder and never ending exploration of an interdisciplinary approach to the scientific methods of learning, and acquiring knowledge that extend far beyond my university studies, into living my life highly engaged in as much experiential (first person) learning as possible. I love asking fresh, invigorating, boldly curious, audaciously barrier-busting, status-qua daring questions, as I feel passionately that, as Dr. Albert Einstein shared, "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity." Albert Einstein US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955)
