I've been plying guitar for over 15 years and have taught privately for over 3. I prefer to teach basics (cowboy chords, fret board finger placement, rhythm/strumming) over leading with theory (scales, keys). I feel that an understanding of being a rhythm player before being to be a lead player is fundamental to any instrument.

About Charles

Hey - I'm Chuck! I've been playing music since I was about 11 years old and love teaching people how to enter into the world of music! If there's an instrument in a rock band you want to learn to play, I'll show you how to get started!

Private Guitar Teacher

After years of playing guitar on my own, I began to discover a method of learning that I began to teach other musicians. Most instructors teach chords, a particular song, some scales, and a few techniques. The method I use for teaching my students will ensure you will learn faster and play better! I create my lesson per student depending on your learning style and what works best for you, there is nothing generic about what you will learn and better, how you will learn it!

About Zachary

I have been a Worship Leader for many years. Teaching and training musicians is an important part of my role. In my previous job, I was teaching nearly thirty students how to play and sing. I want you to love music, not just play an instrument. Music revives me, it inspires me and it's a great feel

I am a beginner that was stuck with not knowing what to do with the knowledge I had from online sources, ie chords, scales and phrasing. Everything I did sounded the same because of my strumming patterns were all the same. Aimee got right to work in just the right area to help me hear new sounds by different strumming patterns. I am very pleased with Aimee's teaching style and environment. Looking forward to second lesson.

About Noah

Hello and thank you for showing interest in lessons with me! My name is Noah and I’ve been a musician for 15 years. I graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts with a Bachelors degree in Jazz composition. When I first started playing the guitar I loved 80’s and classic ro

As an adult, I came to him as a complete novice, and since day one Noah has been very patient and encouraging- balancing music theory with songs that interest me. He's been willing to adapt to my needs in order to accommodate my goals and expectations. A few months later, I can confidently say that I've exceeded all of my goals, and constantly advancing past what I thought I was capable of.

Thanks Noah!

I've only had my first lesson, and I'm a complete novice with the guitar (I'm an adult with some limited musical background). Noah asked me about my goals and musical interests so he could tailor the class to meet my needs. He taught me how to tune the guitar before getting into chords, finger placement, strumming technique, and reading the tabs. Throughout the class, he was incredibly patient, encouraging, and explained everything very clearly without over-complicating the topics. He gave me written "homework" to practice (which I now understand how to read!!). I'm really psyched for my next lesson and pleased that I chose Noah for my instructor.

Noah is by far the best teacher I've ever come across! Here's my story:

I was accepted into the Berklee College of Music as a Vocal Performance Major. However, my knowledge of theory, arranging, and harmony was nothing close to where it needed to be to succeed in my first semester. I ended my first semester with a 1.9 GPA. For the next semester, I was put on academic probation and was required to meet with a Berklee peer tutor once a week. This is where I met Noah. He was my peer tutor. Within our first session alone, I was immediately relieved that there was SOMEONE out that cared enough to take the time to really teach me everything that I needed to learn about theory, harmony, and arranging. He was extremely patient and kind. Where most students who were in my predicament dreaded to meet with their peer tutors weekly, I looked forward to meeting with Noah. In fact, I called the head of the tutoring department and asked if I could meet with Noah twice a week instead of once a week! Noah didn't hesitate, but instead agreed and we met twice a week! We even met for tutoring sessions when it wasn't required! He literally saved my second semester! I went from completely failing tests two getting A+ on all of my exams! At the end of that semester, I went from a 1.9 GPA to a 3.0 GPA!

Not only is Noah just amazing at everything theory, harmony, and arranging, composing, etc. and an amazing teacher that actually cares about his students, he's also an amazing musician! A multi-instrumentalist at that! I've had the pleasure of seeing him play multiple instruments in multiple styles and genres and he's by far the best musician I've ever come across. I would recommend him to anyone! Really! I'm not just saying this! If there is anyone you should be talking to or learning from in regards to all things music, Noah is the guy to go to!

THANK YOU NOAH!!!

I would highly recommend Tony Mitri as a voice and music instructor. My son takes lessons with Mr. Mitri and his progress has been astounding! He studies with other teachers previously without much success. My son has said he has learned more from Mr. Mitri than all of his previous instructors. He enjoys the lessons so he works harder at making progress and it shows. He helped him expand his range substantially, and increase his confidence. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in music of any kind. Mr.Mitri is awesome professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed.
