I am a filmmaker, producer, screenwriter and curator. I was born in China, and worked in Shanghai many years. Before I live and work in Los Angeles, I got my master degree from Tisch school of the arts in NYU. My international education background helps me understand language-learning need to undertake necessary thinking way conversion. Co-production job opportunities helps me understand language-learning is not only about grammar or vocabulary, but also the Chinese way of thinking. My professor used to encourage me to keeping improving English and he said"Amy, master another language is like having another soul. And it is amazing." Chinese learning is hard for students who speak English, because those two languages are in the different language systems. My English learning experience plays on my inspiration, and also gives me some good ideas. I will find a way to simplify Chinese study, and try to make my classes fun and interesting. Chinese is a language, a communication tool. As a means of communication, a foreign language should be learned as close as native language acquisition. Now, I still worked as a part time tutor of AP Chinese. Those students got into Columbia University, Duke University, the State University of New York, and so on. I also helps some filmmakers who want to do the film businesses with China. China is such a wonderful place with so many opportunities. Jack Ma (President of Alibaba) said that China's middle class is already larger than the entire population of the United States. China's massive size makes its growing middle class an important part of the global economy. The opportunity has coming. No matter you live in China or US. Seize the chance, otherwise you will regret it. Let me help you speak and think like a real Chinese. The more opportunity from China and Chinese community , the more bilingual talents they need. We've no time to waste, so let's get cracking.
