I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher with a focus on details and a vested interest in ensuring complete understanding in my students. I work with building blocks so my students not only learn the subject, but learn how to learn better as well. Japanese and other Languages ---- My specialty lies in deconstructive linguistics and out-of-the-box teaching methods, as well as sinolinguistic etymology (the history of Chinese characters and their use in other languages), and interlingual etymology (the exchange and drift of words through other languages). Computers ---- My specialty lies in fundamental understanding and learning methods; the hows and whys of electronics, interfaces, and the internet. I am very patient with students unused to computers, and have experience helping individuals catch up to their tech-savvy peers.
