My family was enthusiastic about international cultures, and so I became an English teacher in Japan. I taught English to Junior High School students in Osaka for more than 10 years. During this time I realized the importance of experiencing other cultures first-hand, so I went to the US and studied Psychology at the SUNY Buffalo, where I obtained a Bachelor Degree in 2003. Afterwards, I returned for more than 10 years to Japan, where I taught English at the Junior High and High School levels in Nagoya, and worked for the establishment of a General Consulate in Nagoya for the nation of Myanmar. About two years ago I returned back to the US, and I hope to share my international experiences and language skills with my students.Show More

Mrs Yae isn't only an extremely careful, thoughtful and well prepared instructor, she is also able to offer an insight into the culture which helps a lot when learning a language that isn't commonly used in this part of the world. As an ESL instructor myself, I appreciate Mrs Yae's techniques when it comes to explaining some of the most complicated aspects of the language, I highly recommend her services.Show More
