    About Walter S.

    Hi I'm Walter. I've been helping people master SQL, databases and data analytics. Here's how i can help you. I've worked with SQL and databases for over 18 years, helping organizations such as Target, NYC Transit Authority and Bank of America successfully leverage and understand their data using SQL. I remember how intimidating SQL and data analytics was when I first started studying it. While I've definitely learned the hard way, I knew it didn’t have to be so daunting, so I decided to create my own course, teaching SQL in a very approachable way, with real life examples and concepts. I created a course that I would’ve wanted when I first started out. With my approach, I've helped hundreds of people get introduced to the basic principles of SQL and data analytics in the past year alone! In the process, I've heard from many aspiring students that they needed more than just technical help. They need guidance starting or redirecting their career using SQL and data analytics. They need someone who's been there and done it to help them through the process. That's why I’m tutoring; to help aspiring job seekers learn from my successes - and failures - in getting my own career off the ground.
