Hello!
I am Wagner, born Deaf from Dominican Republic. I have always enjoyed helping others learn sign language to bridge the gap that exist between the hearing and Deaf.
I am certified in teaching sign language and began in 2005. In 2017, I began as a mentor to students enrolled in the interpreter program at the community college.
Wether, you want to learn sign language to become an interpreter or to communication with a Deaf friend or family member I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

Such a patient instructor. My son learned to spell his name, numbers 1-10, and colors during the 1st lesson.

Stop browsing through ASL teachers on this site, Wagner is your man! He does an individualized lesson plan with your ASL goals in mind. Vocab, Deaf Culture, Grammar, Interpreting practice, he does it all. He is always encouraging but isn't shy about correcting my mistakes or pushing me harder. I started with short lessons weekly but soon went up to hour lessons twice a week because it was so fun and the price was so good. I was told how important it is to learn ASL from native Deaf signers and now I see why. Fully immersive but at my pace I'm learning exponentially faster than YouTube lessons or group classes.
