In your lesson, I'll emphasize functional proficiency and speaking ability over rote memorization of grammatical concepts. My goal is for you to speak French, and speak it comfortably! This means I'll use a variety of activities, concepts, and approaches to make you at ease speaking, hearing, reading, and writing in French (instead of simply at ease filling out worksheets or repeating grammar exercises ad nauseam).

I studied French throughout high-school, spending my junior year in Rennes, France. I went on to major in French and International Relations in college, spending my junior year studying and working in Rabat, Morocco before graduating and teaching as a university teaching assistant in Brest, France. My experiences abroad allow me to prepare my students for real-world interactions in a francophone environment. These experiences, paired with over a decade of teaching and tutoring students, enables me to meet a variety of language learners where they're at and craft a curriculum that will enable them to achieve their goals.
