Japanese with Toyoko L.

Hello, my name is Toyoko, but everyone call me Yoko because they make mistake to call me Tokyo or even Toyota. Yoko is your new Japanese friend/teacher who teach you anything you want to learn about Japan. I am a mother of two daughters one is 27 and another one is almost 17 years old. Older one was born in Japan, younger one was born in Maine. I was from Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. I moved to Maine in 1995 with my older daughter to study English, now I have lived here in Maine as a professional in both Social work and Education field for 22 years. I am still passionate in teaching and teaching is in my blood. I graduated University of Maine, Orono with BS in Education. I also have Social Work degree with Child Psychology minor in Japan. I am working at University of Southern Maine, Portland, Maine as a Nursing Lab Specialist. I have taught in University of Maine, Orono Campus as Japanese instructor back in 2003-2004 and also had variety of students in past outside of University, age between 12-80. They are from middle school students, business personal to retired people. I have worked with special needs students in past work, so any people who have disabilities are welcome. I understand that life is more bright to start new things, and I have patience in my teaching. I am very friendly, my time is flexible if you request other lesson schedule than listed here, but I work full time, evening online lesson hours are the most flexible. Please pick the topic what you like to talk about and start from there, you will be surprised how fast you can learn Japanese! I am open to everyone and open to your needs in education.
