Writing with Torie A.

I am a passionate and creative individual who goes above and beyond for the things and the people I care about in life. Personally, I have found that my true place in life is with youth from urban backgrounds and helping them overcome the boundaries and barriers set before them due to their individual circumstances. I firmly believe that success is determined by ones ability to aide others in their journey through life towards success. Teaching, mentoring and nurturing students is what I was created to do and I my instruction run parallel with this belief. As a Graduate of Eastern Michigan University’s College of Arts and Sciences and a 2012 Masters of Arts in Education recipient from the University of Phoenix, I have found my professional place in the world and that is inside of the classroom. In addition to teaching I am an aspiring writer and artist. Thank You for your time and consideration and I look forward to providing your with an exceptional educational experience!
