He has over 30 year of experience designing and making clothing for individual clients and small quantities for boutiques. Todd has his own design services company, specializing in custom garment design and alterations, custom sewing for home décor, sewing and pattern making lessons. Todd feels learning should be fun and creative. His goal is to encourage students to be imaginative, original, and confident while learning how to sew and make patterns. He teaches beginners to more advanced learners. Lessons are tailored for individual skill level to get the most out of sessions. I have a client that wanted to make her own wedding dress. She had a design in mind. I was able to help her with the pattern making work step by step. She able to do most of the pattern work herself with my instructions. We went to LA together to shop for fabric. I suggested what fabric would work best for her design and how much fabric to buy. I instructed her on how to match fabric pattern with the dress pattern to cut out the dress out, and how to sew it together. She is doing most of the sewing. The will be ready by the end of july. I will post pics of the progress.
